Balloon Boy announcement…Total waste of Time!!!
Ok, so I tried not to talk about this whole “Balloon Boy” crap. Why? Because it is a freaking publicity stunt, if ya ask me. But it has become so annoying that I had to share this with you guys.
At this point, I’m sure you’ve heard about the boy, Falcon Heene. He was hiding somewhere in the attic while everyone else thought he was hurtling away into the heavens in a homemade balloon.
In a later interview with CNN’s “Larry King Live,” Falcon said he heard his parents call for him from the garage.
When asked by his father on-air why he didn’t respond, the boy replied, “You guys said we did this for the show.”
When the father was pressed by Wolf Blitzer, who was filling in for King, to explain what his son meant, he became uncomfortable, finally saying he was “appalled” by the questions, and then adding that Falcon was likely referring to all the media coverage.
Well, this Earlier today, Richard Heene, the strange father of Balloon Boy Falcon Heene, said he was going to be making a big announcement at a press conference. His announcement? You’re ready for it? He’s setting up a suggestion box!
Richard Heene spoke for only about a minute, telling the media that he doesn’t get cable so he has no idea what people are saying about his family. So he put a box out in front of his house so people can drop questions in, on sheets of paper (so old-fashioned). He said he’ll come back later to answer them.
This man is seriously milking this thing! Its all a hoax to me…
