Don’t confuse Love with Sex…
So, a friend of mine, Alicia, was telling me the other day over a cup of coffee, how she just met this wonderful man ( two weeks ago) and he’s just so wonderful and she thinks she might love him already…ok, my question was “Have yall had sex?” She goes “YES! Girl…this man can put it DOWN!” Girl…this is a severe mistake MOST of us make.
Unlike men, we tend to confuse sex with love. So we start thinking the sex is great and he always calls when he says he will…and we love the companionship and all. This is NOT us loving the MAN…instead this is loving the CHARACTER of the man. The truth is that you can never truly know anyone in two weeks. Thus, its not possible to love someone in two weeks. Its okay to enjoy sex however, never confuse it with love because trust me…HE WON’T!
And if you decide to ask him if he loves you during sex, I bet you the answer will be “YES!” That doesn’t count either. Sex is like a drug and if you decide to hold a conversation during this “addiction,” don’t expect it to be a rational discussion!
