Matt Kemp throws Rihanna a Surprise 22nd Bday Party!
Rihanna’s rumoured boyfriend MATT KEMP has fuelled speculation about their relationship by reportedly throwing the singer a surprise birthday party this past weekend.
The Umbrella hitmaker turned 22 on Saturday (Feb 20th) and the baseball player is said to have organised a special gathering in Phoenix, Arizona, where he is currently in training.
The event hosted 40 friends and featured flowers, cupcakes and specially-prepared Jamaican food, while Kemp also presented Rihanna with a cake decorated with her various tattoo designs, according to E! Online.
A source tells the website, “It was so sweet and she was really surprised. She looked just beautiful.” This was also an especially sweet gesture since she never really had a 21st bday (Thanks alot for that scandal, Chris Brown!)
The singer was first linked to the Los Angeles Dodgers star at the end of last year (09), and rumours of a new romance flourished when they were spotted frolicking in Mexico together.
Rihanna has since insisted she is “single” while Kemp is adamant the pair is “just good friends”.
