Let me just say that it takes a powerful woman to talk about her relationship struggles and drug abuse…especially when she’s talking to the entire world about it!

However, I think we should all own up to our mistakes! Its obvious her ex, Bobby Brown, was a negative influence but, she owned up to her mistakes too. “He was my drug,” she confessed. “I didn’t do anything without him. I wasn’t getting high by myself. It was me and him together, and we were partners, and that’s what my high was — him. He and I being together, and whatever we did, we did it together. No matter what, we did it together.”

I think its such a beautiful thing when couples love being around eachother and do everythnig together…but it could also be a horrible thing (as shown in their case!). Ladies, no matter what, we’re our own individual person. Never let your marriage or relationship become the only thing you have going on in your life because this could be dangerous.

Whitney Houston is from a very christian background and even she fell right into this horrible trap of being overly dependent on her marriage! Love your man and spend time with him…but think for yourself and make your own decisions as an individual!
